Live Music Band Competition

The Battle of Bands at TEKRON 2.0 is a high-energy live music competition designed to showcase the best emerging college bands across all genres. With a structured selection process from online video submissions to a live stage finale, the event emphasizes originality, musicianship, synchronization, and stage presence. It offers bands a professional platform to perform live, compete fairly, and gain recognition in front of a large audience.

Competition Structure

The competition will be conducted in two stages:

• Round 1: Online Qualifiers
• Round 2: Live Stage Finals

Bands are shortlisted based on performance quality and judging criteria to advance to the final round.

Round 1: Online Qualifiers

• Bands must submit a live performance video
• Video duration: 3–5 minutes
• All band members must be clearly visible
• Audio must be clear and unedited
• Use of pre-recorded audio or edited tracks is strictly prohibited

 16 Shortlisted bands will qualify for the live finals.

 Round 2: Live Stage Finals

• Maximum performance time: 15 minutes (including setup & soundcheck)
• All music must be performed live on stage
• Bands must bring their own instruments (drum kit will be provided)
• Live looping, backing tracks, auto-tune, or pre-recorded audio is not allowed
• Band members performing live must be the same as those in the submitted video

   Key Dates

• Online Qualifiers: 18th January 2026
• Live Stage Finals: 30th January 2026

   Eligibility

• Open to college and university bands only
• Each band must have 3–7 members
• A participant can perform for only one band
• All participants must carry valid college ID cards

   Prizes

• Winner: ₹20,000
• First Runner-up: ₹10,000
• Certificates for all participating bands

• Rs 1500/- will be charged as registration fees to the Top 16 team who are coming to perform live.
