Copyright & Ownership
This Copyright & Ownership Policy explains how intellectual property is protected on SPPU Engineers and how to report copyright or ownership concerns.
Last updated on 1 July 2026
1. Ownership of Content
Original materials on SPPU Engineers — including notes, master solutions, website design, software, branding, graphics, and curated resources created by our team — are owned by SPPU Engineers unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, commercial use, or public sharing without written permission is prohibited.
2. Licensed Access for Students
When you purchase a product, you receive a limited personal licence to access materials through your account and the in-app viewer while your enrollment is active.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the underlying content to you. See our Terms & Conditions for usage restrictions.
3. User-Generated Content
Reviews, testimonials, feedback, or other content you submit may be displayed on the Platform or used to improve our services.
By submitting such content, you grant SPPU Engineers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and adapt it in connection with the Platform.
4. Educational Purpose and Fair Use
SPPU Engineers supports SPPU engineering students with academic preparation materials.
We do not claim ownership of official university documents. Some reference materials may be used for educational purposes under applicable law.
If any material is believed to infringe rights, we will review and take appropriate action upon receiving a valid notice.
5. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work appears on our Platform without authorisation, email support@sppuengineers.in with:
- Your full name and contact details.
- The exact URL(s) where the material appears.
- A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorised.
- A declaration that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised agent.
We investigate valid complaints and may remove or disable access to infringing content within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Third-Party Materials
The Platform may reference logos, links, syllabus PDFs, or resources belonging to third parties.
Such materials remain the property of their respective owners. SPPU Engineers does not claim rights over them.
7. Viewer, Watermarks and Protection
Licensed materials may include visible or invisible watermarks tied to your account to deter misuse.
Removing watermarks, bypassing the viewer, scraping content, or sharing access credentials violates our policies and may lead to account action.
8. Repeated Violations
Accounts or users found repeatedly infringing copyright, sharing paid materials, or bypassing access controls may face suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
9. Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated periodically. The latest version is published at sppuengineers.in/legal/copyright-ownership/.
Copyright queries and takedown requests: support@sppuengineers.in. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
