About this Hackathon

Competitive Esports Event:

  • The BGMI Tournament at TEKRON 2.0 is a high-stakes competitive esports event featuring a structured qualification pathway from Online Qualifiers to the Grand Finals. Designed to ensure fair play, competitive balance, and performance-based progression, the tournament brings together top BGMI teams to compete across multiple stages for a substantial prize pool.


Tournament Structure:

The competition will be conducted in four stages:

  • Online Qualifiers (Round 1)
  • Round 2 (Based on No. of Registrations)
  • Semifinals
  • Grand Finals


Each stage progressively filters teams based on cumulative performance.

Key Dates:

  • Online Qualifiers: 21 January 2026
  • Grand Finals: 30 & 31 January 2026


Match Format:

  • Semifinal Teams: 24 (3 groups of 8 teams)
  • Match Format: Inter-group matches
  • Matches per Team (Semifinals): 6
  • Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Rondo
  • Daily Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Qualification:

  • Top 16 teams from the Semifinals qualify for the Grand Finals
  • Rankings based on cumulative points
  • Tie-breakers resolved by tournament officials


Prize Pool:

  • Total Prize Pool: ₹30,000


Prize Breakdown:

  • 1st Place: ₹15,000
  • 2nd Place: ₹10,000
  • 3rd Place: ₹5,000


Eligibility:

  • Open to registered BGMI teams only
  • Teams must complete registration through the official link
  • All participants must adhere to tournament rules and guidelines


Rules & Fair Play:

  • Strict anti-cheating and fair-play policies enforced
  • Exploitation of bugs, unfair practices, or misconduct will result in disqualification
  • Organisers’ decisions will be final in all matters
