About this Hackathon
Competitive Esports Event:
- The BGMI Tournament at TEKRON 2.0 is a high-stakes competitive esports event featuring a structured qualification pathway from Online Qualifiers to the Grand Finals. Designed to ensure fair play, competitive balance, and performance-based progression, the tournament brings together top BGMI teams to compete across multiple stages for a substantial prize pool.
Tournament Structure:
The competition will be conducted in four stages:
- Online Qualifiers (Round 1)
- Round 2 (Based on No. of Registrations)
- Semifinals
- Grand Finals
Each stage progressively filters teams based on cumulative performance.
Key Dates:
- Online Qualifiers: 21 January 2026
- Grand Finals: 30 & 31 January 2026
Match Format:
- Semifinal Teams: 24 (3 groups of 8 teams)
- Match Format: Inter-group matches
- Matches per Team (Semifinals): 6
- Maps: Erangel, Miramar, Rondo
- Daily Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Qualification:
- Top 16 teams from the Semifinals qualify for the Grand Finals
- Rankings based on cumulative points
- Tie-breakers resolved by tournament officials
Prize Pool:
- Total Prize Pool: ₹30,000
Prize Breakdown:
- 1st Place: ₹15,000
- 2nd Place: ₹10,000
- 3rd Place: ₹5,000
Eligibility:
- Open to registered BGMI teams only
- Teams must complete registration through the official link
- All participants must adhere to tournament rules and guidelines
Rules & Fair Play:
- Strict anti-cheating and fair-play policies enforced
- Exploitation of bugs, unfair practices, or misconduct will result in disqualification
- Organisers’ decisions will be final in all matters
