Event Overview:

• CodeWars is a flagship competitive programming contest organised under TEKRON 2.0, designed to challenge students’ problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and coding efficiency in a high-pressure environment.
• The contest follows an ICPC-style individual format and is open exclusively to students.

Round 1: Online Qualification Round

• Date: 23 January 2026
• Mode: Online (platform announced on community)
• Participation: Individual
• Selection: Top performers qualify for the Offline Final Round (cut-off undisclosed)
• Prize Pool: ₹10,000
• 1st: ₹5,000
• 2nd: ₹3,000
• 3rd: ₹2,000

Round 2: Offline Final Round

• Date: 31 January 2026
• Venue: Newton School of Technology - ADYPU
• Duration: 3 Hours
• Mode: Fully proctored (screen, video & audio monitoring)
• Participation: Individual (bring your own laptop)
• Prize Pool: ₹40,000
• 1st: ₹18,000
• 2nd: ₹13,000
• 3rd: ₹9,000

Contest Format & Evaluation:

• ICPC-style scoring
• Rankings based on:
• Number of problems solved
• Penalty time for incorrect submissions and time taken
• Strict anti-plagiarism and fair-play policies enforced

• Individual participation only (no teams)
