About this Workshop
SASC Code2Launch 2025 is a 3-day workshop and competition organized by the SIT ACM Student Chapter. In this event, students will learn the fundamentals of web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, and hosting with Vercel/Netlify. By the end of the workshop, every participant will have built and launched their own live portfolio website.

Day 1: Introduction & Web Fundamentals (04:00 PM Onwards)

- Responsive layouts from scratch
Day 2: JavaScript & First Website (09:00 AM Onwards)

- JavaScript fundamentals & DOM manipulation
- Interactive elements & event handling
- Building your first website
- Challenge: Create a basic portfolio website
Day 3: Portfolio, GitHub & Hosting (9:00 AM Onwards)
Topics:
- Polishing your portfolio website
- Git & GitHub basics
- Hosting with Vercel/Netlify
- Final project submission & Winner announcement
