About this Competition
Startup Pitch Competition 2025 is an entrepreneurial event organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik on the occasion of National Entrepreneurs’ Day.
The competition aims to encourage innovation, creativity, and problem-solving by offering students a platform to pitch their ideas, prototypes, or working models before an expert panel. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring student innovators to showcase their entrepreneurial potential, validate their ideas, and receive expert feedback.
Eligibility:
- Students from any college and any discipline are eligible.
- Participation can be individual or in a team of 2–4 members.
- Open to aspiring entrepreneurs, and early-stage startup founders.
Process & Format:
Round 1: Online Screening – Registration & PPT Submission
Participants are required to register and submit a concise 3–5 slide pitch deck. The pitch deck should clearly cover the following key components:
- Problem Statement
- Proposed Solution / Idea
- Target Market & Customer Segment
- Innovation / Uniqueness of the Idea
- Feasibility & Expected Impact
- Prototype Details (if available)
All submissions will undergo an initial evaluation by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Review Panel.
Shortlisted teams will receive confirmation and further instructions via email.
Round 2: Offline Final Pitch – Live Presentation (22 November 2025)
Shortlisted participants from Round 1 will be invited to SIOM campus for the final offline pitching round.
Each team will be allocated:
- 7 minutes for the main pitch presentation
- 3 minutes for the Q&A session with the judging panel
Participants may also showcase prototypes, demonstrations, or short videos during their pitch (optional).
Rules:
- The idea must be the original work of the participants.
- One participant/team can submit only one entry.
- The decision of the judges will be final.
- Teams must adhere to the time limits during the final pitch.
- Any plagiarism or unethical practice will result in disqualification.
