About this Hackathon

Eligibility:
- Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students across India.
- Participants must carry valid college ID card and Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License for verification.
Team Composition:
- Team size: 4 members (Hackathon).
- Inter-college team members: Allowed.
- Inter-specialization team members: Allowed.
- Each team is encouraged to include at least one female participant (as per SSPU’s SWATI initiative). (*Not Compulsory)
Tracks:
- 24-Hour Hackathon – Innovation-based problem solving.
Problem Statements:
- The Hackathon will revolve around real-world problem statements focusing on innovation, digital security, and sustainability.
- Exact problem statements to be disclosed during event launch.
Format & Rounds:
- Hackathon: 24-hour continuous coding session with final presentations.
- Judging Criteria: Innovation, Feasibility, Technical Depth, and Presentation.
Rules:
- Each team must register prior to the event and confirm attendance onsite.
- Participants must bring all their own equipment, including:
- Laptops, chargers, and mobile hotspots (if needed).
- Extension cords, multi-plug adapters, and power banks.
- Any additional accessories required for their setup (e.g., USB cables, headphones, external drives, etc.).
- Organizers will provide basic power supply and Wi-Fi access, but teams are responsible for ensuring their personal setup functions properly.
- Use of AI tools, APIs, and open-source frameworks is permitted unless restricted by problem statement. (*The Project Build must be fully Open-Source.)
- Plagiarism or pre-built project submissions will lead to disqualification.
- Internet usage for research is allowed; external network scanning tools are prohibited.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
- Participants are expected to maintain decorum and abide by SSPU’s conduct policy.
Prize Pool:
- Prize Pool: ₹1,00,000.
- Rewards include:
- Attractive cash prizes for Winners and Certifications for top-performing teams in Hackathon.
