About this Scholarship
The ONGC Merit Scholarship Scheme provides financial assistance to meritorious first-year engineering students across India. The scholarship is available for students from General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories and applications for the 2026 cycle are being accepted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Benefits

Eligibility
• Indian citizen
• First-year B.E./B.Tech student in an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution
• Minimum 60% marks in Class 12 (or equivalent)
• Applicable for General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories
• Must satisfy the income criteria prescribed by ONGC and NSP
